Kitesurf: Cloudflare's Chromium-free browser built for AI agents
No tabs, no theme, no extensions. Cloudflare has released a beta of Kitesurf, an ultra-light headless browser designed to be driven by AI agents. Written in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly and run on Workers, it is said to be 3 to 7 times more efficient than Chromium in CPU and memory. Giving every agent its own Chromium instance had become too expensive.
